Trousseau presents Summer 2014

Vivid colors and strong graphics accentuate the brand's new collection.

Adriana and Romeu Trussardi Neto present the Summer 2014 Trousseau collection, inspired by the Mediterranean islands and marked with warm tones such as pink Italian sunsets, neon shades from the flowers on Panarea island, blues from the sky and the sea, as well as beiges from the sands of the beach.

For the collection, the entrepreneurs aimed to introduce patterns and concepts of Mediterranean moments, such as zigzags, stripes, flowers, nautical and geometric images, Portuguese tiles, canvas, knit, Chenille and matelassé fabrics. The seven bed lines of this new collection contain sets of sheets, cushion covers, blankets and bedspreads. All are made to the high standard and sophistication of Trousseau.

STROMBOLI – these prints are represented by yellow flowers, green leaves and blue seas. The pillowcases are double sided with patterns that can give new life and innovation to the decoration of the environment.

GIGLIO - The lilies that inhabit the island were a source of inspiration to make up the unique print of this set of sheets and cushion covers. Navy blue and white predominate, as well as zigzags and other geometric shapes.

PONZA - The flowers that grow on the island appear to move amongst the pattern of the sheets, representing the breath of the island's unique breeze, just as the rose represents the local sunset. The line has a double finish with festoons embroidered by hand.

TROPEA - A city situated upon a reef is represented by the colors of the sea: green and blue. The design of embroidered corals on the pillowcases, as well as the fluted details, add sophistication to the line.

PANAREA – This line is made from sturdy canvas material, elegantly presented with striking colors including green and neon pink, which represent colorful flowers. A matelassé bedspread is the key piece in this decoration.

GIANNUTRI - The masculine concept of the line brings more classic colors such as black and gray, blending their smoothness with beige. Checked patterns highlight this range.

LIPARI – This line combines the delicacy of flowers with embroidered butterflies. Shades of guava and pink rose on the pillowcases add modernity and luxury.

WHITE LUXURY Collection - With new colors and finishes, White Luxury - Trousseau's most refined and classic collection - is the highlight of the Summer 2014 Trousseau Collection.
Locarno uses beige to bring freshness to this bed linen range. The hand-embroidered finish stitched in Switzerland provides an individual identity to each finished piece.

Bottondoro comes in blue and was inspired by the explosion of fireworks in the sky. The lightness and gracefulness of this line is highlighted with the white knit blanket.

Tikar / Linate distorts typical geometric and embroidered shapes. At the request of its customers, the line offers a new size: 40 x 100 cm.

With new finishes and surprising touches, this minimalist range innovates through its elegance and modernity. Desio New brings a clear finish using shades of white, ice, navy blue, green and graphite.

Bath ware

The great highlight of the bath collection is the butterfly prints, adopting strong colors that represent the Brazilian summer. The beach towels are designed with coral prints, flowers and stripes.

Homewear

The colors of these pieces bring shades of pink, white, off-white, turquoise and green. Adored by mothers, the Sui line has buttons on the front for easy breastfeeding.

The male homewear is in neutral shades of gray and black. The women's collection has delicate sweaters and details in Swiss lace. The new collection also features comfortable pajamas and homewear for different occasions, such as outdoor lunch on the deck. Available in gray, green and navy colors.

Petit

For children from 0 to 4 years, the summer collection of Trousseau Petit is made up of crib bed sheets, party clothes, day-to-day clothes and nightwear for girls and boys.

The Trenzinho line was developed from toys that remind us of boys' childhoods. The delicate design of the embroidery is also presented in the toiletry bags, suitcases, bags and bottle bags, among others.

The range for girls is represented by the flowers of the Evelyn line. The embroideries appear in pink, green and lilac shades. The Pink Rainbow crib sheet adds lightness to a feminine decor.

The Zebra line blends light blue and beige with items that include overalls, blankets, and 100% pima cotton towels - the ideal fabric to provide comfort for infants and toddlers.

The design of the Trousseau Magazine is in partnership with Marcos Saviani from Evol Design. Romulo Fialdini shot the photograph section in Parati, Rio de Janeiro.
