Trousseau presents Winter 2012
This home clothing brand launches its new collection inspired by the world of architecture and décor, named after professionals in the area.
It pays tribute to the brand's architects and decorators, who were specially invited to design rooms with the creations of the Trousseau Winter Collection. Also part of the Winter 2012 Collection are items from the Classic and Soft Reptile Collections, created by designers Fernando and Humberto Campana exclusively for Trousseau.
The new collection is presented in the Trousseau Magazine, a personal brand publication, now in its third edition. Invited to participate were influential names in Brazilian architecture and decoration, including: David Bastos; Dado Castello Branco; Beto Galvez and Nórea de Vitto; João Armentano; Roberto Migotto; Carolina Maluhy; Ana Maria Vieira Santos and Fernanda Marques.
Also involved were professional journalists including: Eliane Pinheiro; Debora Aguiar; Marina Linhares; Fernando Piva; Glaucia Brito; Marcia Muller; Karina Afonso; Sophia Galvão; Patricia Hermany; Diego Revollo and Joy Garrido.
The design of Trousseau Magazine is in partnership with by Marcos Saviani from Evol Design. The photos of the beds were shot by Rômulo Fialdini, the pieces of homewear by Jaime and Renan, and the portraits of the professionals taken by Marcelo Donatelli.
Printing
All fabrics are printed in Italy on 300-thread cotton satin. The method used is distinctive and considered one of the best in the world. The printed fabrics are specially treated with the Dream Touch finish, resulting in a soft and silky touch.
Embroidery
Trousseau embroidery is utterly unique, specially designed for each collection.
Blankets and Covers
The knitted blankets have distinctive weaves and an unparalleled touch. In this collection the new elements are the pima cotton-knit blankets, a Peruvian cotton with longer fibers, that provide a soft touch and superior quality.
There are also blankets and covers of high standard and sophistication made with the purest cashmere. The coloring and design are carefully chosen to match the winter beds. Microfiber cotton blankets and covers have a varied color palette allowing various combinations.
Accessories
The bed accessories in this collection are incredibly varied. Cushion covers made from suede and natural leathers, knitting and floral embroidery come together to enrich the bed range.
Campana for Trousseau
The Campana brothers created two exclusive collections of bed linen for Trousseau. In the Classics line, the designers have revived the traditional handicraft of lace makers and reproduced this in bedspreads, sheets and pillowcases with a romantic effect of overlaid lace. The idea of ??the duo brings a fresh twist to the classic use of lace. This romantic and delicate material is used freely, creating elaborate textures and overlays.
In the other collection called Soft Reptile, the highlight is the matelassé items created for the bed, from sheets to accessories. The pieces suggest the textures and ripples of the reptile world, abstracting the shapes into warm and inviting curves.
Grife White Luxury
The most luxurious and exclusive Trousseau label features 600 to 1000-thread count sheets and duvets, all in Egyptian cotton, the most noble in the market.
These classic luxury sheets come in a range of neutral colors including white, ivory and ice, all with sophisticated finishes and embroidery.
Homewear
The colors of these pieces bring shades of navy, gray and rose, considered to be the main colors of the winter collection. Made exclusively for Trousseau, the Belgian robes are sophisticated and very wintry. The male homewear is neutral in shades of gray. There are also the classic cashmere pajamas in shades of beige.
The women's collection, however, contains delicate sweaters with lace details. The new collection also features homewear for different occasions, from a walk to an afternoon at home, and comfortable pajamas for those winter nights.
