Introduction

Facing the sea of the Leblon beach, the Marina Palace is one of the most traditional hotels in the south part of Rio. Its privileged location caters to those who come to the Fluminense capital on business as well as pleasure.

In the leisure department, our guests can enjoy a sunny day at the pool, located on the roof, or at the beach in front of the hotel, with chair, towels and parasol service. The leisure area also includes a sauna, pool bar and fitness center.

In the gastronomic front, the hotel offers the Vizta restaurant and the Bar da Praia. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor and has a beautiful view of the sea and the Morro Dois Irmaos (one of the cities postcards). On the menu, a reinterpretation of traditional national and regional dishes, added to an impeccable wine list. At the Bar da Praia, considered the best post beach by the cariocas and tourists, there is a more modern and casual atmosphere, without leaving aside the impeccable gastronomic quality.

The hotel also offers other services, such as: business center, wi-fi in all areas, 24h room service, car rental, gift shop and jewellers, bicycle rental, personal trainer, medical care, laundry, 24h security and concierge.

INTERVIEW
  • 1) What was the inspiration for creating the project for the Hotel?

In Leblon: If you go to the beach, the 12th post is the “young, fit” place to be, at Joao Lira (in front of the hotel) you find a more casual and family-oriented atmosphere. Every Sunday the sidewalk is closed and becomes a space for the practice of sports and meeting of friends.

One of the most sought-after places is the Mirante do Leblon, on the Niemeyer Avenue, you can see a large portion of the South side of Rio de Janeiro. From the Mirante it is possible to see our hotel and all the flurry of the carioca beaches.

One of the most charming places in Rio, the Dias Ferreira street in Leblon, has become a Rio place to be. If you wish to see and be seen, this is the ideal place. With several delicious restaurants, it attracts a demanding clientele, which enjoys the hype. Famous local actors and paparazzi can be seen dashing between restaurants.

    2) If you had only 72 hours in rio de janeiro, what would you recommend doing and seeing?

We have a content channel called O Bom de Viajar (The good of Travelling). We always suggest the “Rio pelos Cariocas” (Rio by Cariocas) session, there you can find several special tips by cariocas.
